Morgan is also a member of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is the leader of numerous other fund-raising projects for the disease and she also testified before a special Congressional panel on AIDS education. Morgan is on the Board of Governors of APLA as well as Amfar. C. Everett Koop's former deputy surgeon general requested her occasionally to substitute for him at AIDS awareness programs. She also hosted an AIDS Awareness Special hosted by Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline at least twice, to discuss AIDS. Morgan was nominated for the Emmys to be a part of Diane English's Murphy Brown special written especially specifically for Morgan. In spring, she was a guest alongside Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon that was created by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show was also co-starring Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The next time she appeared, Harmony Gold produced Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also been featured in a psychological thriller produced for USA Network. The film received one of the greatest ratings of all time.
